Our Remedy MSK Series has a special treat for our candidates next week, a guest slot from Ian Gatt (EIS, GB Boxing). As part of our Elbow, Wrist and Hand Seminar, Thomas Mitchell and Andrew Cuff will be joined by Ian who will bring his expert knowledge from 8 years at the helm of GB Boxing, and his unique skills of that rarefied beast, a Kaltenborn-trained physiotherapist (this is for those in the know!!).
More about Ian:
Ian has worked with the elite squads in the build-up and during numerous major competitions including; Olympic, Commonwealth, World and European Games. He has specialised in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy (OMT), completed an MSc in Sport Physiotherapy, and is currently undergoing a PhD in wrist kinematics. Ian has been an Associate Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University since 2008, as well as a visiting lecturer at UCL on the Rehabilitation in Sports Injuries module. Ian is also an advisor to both Olympic and Professional sports, delivering educational workshops and supporting practitioners with their respective athletes on MSK injuries related to the Hand, Wrist and Elbow. He also provides private consultations in cervical and upper limb ailments in Sheffield, London and Malta.
